2 Men Charged With Arson Over Woodbridge Hotel Fire
Two suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with a fire at an occupied hotel in March.
WOODBRIDGE, VA – Two Arlington men have been charged in connection with a fire at a Woodbridge Sleep Inn in March.
Alejandro Nunes, 35, of Arlington, and James Robert Minor, 32, of Arlington, are charged with arson to an occupied dwelling. Minor is additionally charged with conspiracy to commit a felony.
The charges stem from a fire that occurred at the Sleep Inn at 14080 Shoppers Best Way in Woodbridge on March 18. According to Prince William County police, the fire was caused by a person who entered the hotel, applied some kind of accelerant fluid inside it, and lit the fluid. The hotel was occupied at the time the fire was started.

Nunes and Minor were identified as suspects. The Arlington County Police and a U.S. Marshalls Task Force helped with their apprehension. Minor was arrested on April 21, Nunes on May 18. Both are being held without bond. Their court case dates are pending.
