Prosecutors say Reza Romeo Keyhan, who claimed to have the Woodbridge drug trade "locked down," now faces eight federal counts tied to trafficking, money laundering, and a firearms charge, with a trial date still pending.

First Gospel Sound Challenge Brings Music and Giving Together in Woodbridge (princewilliamliving.com) — A new Gospel Sound Challenge is coming to Forest Park High School in Woodbridge on Nov. 21, inviting soloists, duets, and choirs to compete while raising funds for local children's Christmas gifts. Organizers are still seeking performers, volunteers, donations, and community partners, and have extended the audition deadline through Oct. 30 for anyone interested in taking part.

Reality TV show helps Triangle couple connect with family (princewilliamtimes.com) — A longtime Prince William County educator who once taught at Woodbridge Middle School is sharing his emotional journey to reconnect with his father through the reality show "Relative Race." The Triangle couple hopes their televised search encourages local families, especially in Black communities, to talk about estrangement, identity, and mental health while showing students that healing and reconnection are possible.
   

4. Prince William County schools announces Merit Scholarship semifinalists (princewilliamtimes.com) — A Woodbridge High School student, Sophia Ramirez Jam, is among six Prince William County Public Schools seniors named semifinalists for the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program. These high-achieving students will now compete for scholarships based on academics, test scores, recommendations, essays, and leadership and activity records, with winners to be announced in the spring.
