• 21-year-old killed in El Cerrito shopping center shooting identified (ktvu.com) — A 21-year-old man was fatally shot while sitting in his car outside Los Moles at Del Norte Plaza in El Cerrito, and police have identified him as Jakai Couch. Investigators arrested an 18-year-old suspected lookout but are still searching for the shooter and getaway driver. The case has been complicated by El Cerrito's recent removal of license-plate cameras, which slowed efforts to track the suspects' vehicle.
