• Burglar breaks into occupied El Cerrito home in middle of the night, flees in resident's vehicle (kioncentralcoast.com) — El Cerrito police are investigating a late-night burglary on Eureka Avenue where a suspect entered an occupied home, stole electronics, and fled in the resident's vehicle. Neighbors on Eureka, Liberty, and Lincoln avenues are urged to check surveillance footage around 1 a.m. and share anything suspicious with police, as only a red backpack distinguishes the suspect so far.
