ELLINGTON, CT — Burbank Road remained closed Wednesday after a crash involving a utility pole near 126 Burbank Road, Connecticut State Police said. Troopers from Troop C in Tolland responded to the crash at approximately 10:05 a.m. Sept. 23, according to preliminary information from state police. Non-life-threatening injuries were reported. The crash has been cleared, but downed wires prompted the road closure, state police said. Eversource was notified, and the road remains closed while the utility pole is repaired. State police did not provide an estimate for when Burbank Road will reopen or release further details about the crash.
