• Community Car Show & Marketplace Event Announced In Hamden (patch.com) — Hamden residents can look forward to the new Cars & Commerce Community Car Show & Marketplace at Town Center Park on Saturday, Sept. 19, with free admission for spectators. The Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce is organizing a full day of classic cars, food trucks, local business vendors, and raffles, with proceeds benefiting Hamden PAL and easy access via Hamden Middle School.

• Wealth Management Pioneer Stephen Emanuel Prostano Dies (myrye.com) — A pioneering wealth management leader who grew up in Hamden has died at 68, remembered for his devotion to family and innovation in his field. Friends and relatives recall his deep roots in Hamden, lifelong bond with his wife Laura, and a career defined by relationships and philanthropy supporting leukemia and lymphoma research.
