• Police identify suspect in Sopchoppy double homicide (tallahassee.com) — Law enforcement has identified a suspect in a deadly double homicide linked to a property on Otter Creek Road near Sopchoppy, and they’re warning residents he should be considered dangerous. Deputies say nationwide extradition is authorized and a reward is being offered for tips, urging anyone who sees the suspect or knows his whereabouts to call 911 or the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
   

• FHP: One man dead in Wakulla County crash (wctv.tv subscription) — A man from Sopchoppy was killed late Tuesday night in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 319 in Wakulla County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers say his truck left the roadway on a curve, overcorrected, crossed both lanes, and overturned, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
