• Serial shoplifters whose targets included Walmart stores in Hall Co. sentenced (wgtjradio.com) — Two serial shoplifters who hit Walmart stores across eleven states, including a major theft in Canton have been sentenced to 25 and 40 years in prison. Their nearly $15,000 haul from Canton's Walmart helped trigger the investigation that exposed more than $320,000 in stolen goods and led to their conviction in Cherokee County Superior Court.
