• Tandoori Table in Cartersville receives a 52% on their recent health inspection (thegeorgiagazette.com) — Health inspectors recently gave Tandoori Table on South Tennessee Street in Cartersville a failing 52 out of 100, citing serious issues with handwashing, food temperatures, storage, and date marking. Several problems were corrected on-site, but others remained unresolved, and the restaurant was reminded about proper cooling, labeling, and employee health policies that protect diners.
   

• Cartersville police seize enough fentanyl to kill 8,000 in traffic stop arrest (fox5atlanta.com) — Cartersville police say a local man was arrested after a traffic stop turned up trafficking-level amounts of fentanyl and methamphetamine that officials estimate could have caused thousands of overdoses. Officers stopped an SUV for expired registration, chased down a fleeing passenger, and now the suspect faces multiple trafficking and obstruction charges while investigators withhold some details of the case.
