• Woodland hosts 20th annual Run at the Rock (bartowsportszone.com) — Woodland's cross country teams turned in solid finishes while hosting the 20th annual Run at the Rock, and now they're headed to the Wingfoot Cross Country Classic at Sam Smith Park in Cartersville. Local runners, including Cass athletes, will compete there Saturday, giving Cartersville residents a chance to watch strong regional high school talent close to home.
   

• Thor Equities Plans $1B Data Center In North Georgia: The Atlanta Deal Sheet (bisnow.com) — A New York developer is planning a massive $1 billion data center just north of Cartersville in Bartow County, promising jobs, tax revenue, and big infrastructure demands by 2030. The Kingston Technology Hub would use significant local water and power, potentially reshaping nearby Kingston and the broader Cartersville area's economy and utilities over the next few years.
