• Houston County Board of Education propose attendance rezoning for certain elementary and middle schools (hhjonline.com) — Families with children at Centerville Elementary could see 125 students rezoned to Eagle Springs Elementary as Houston County reshapes school attendance zones ahead of Veterans Middle School's 2027 opening. The proposal, which doesn't affect high schools, includes a grandfathering option so students can finish their current school's grade band, and may be voted on at the Board of Education's October meeting.
