Authorities describe her as dangerous, using multiple aliases and changing her appearance, and urge anyone who spots her to avoid contact, call 911 immediately, and share tips with Florida investigators or Crime Stoppers.

Clarkesville crews race to repair water main break on Washington Street (nowgeorgia.com) — A water main break on Washington Street in Clarkesville sent city crews scrambling Wednesday, with one worker standing chest-deep in muddy water to speed repairs. Traffic was reduced to one lane between Clarkesville Baptist Church and Walgreens, though officials reported no widespread outages or boil advisories and urged drivers to use caution around the work zone.
   

3. Love Your Neighbor draws 33 churches to serve across northeast Georgia (christianindex.org) — Clarkesville residents took part in a large regional “Love Your Neighbor” outreach, with Hill’s Crossing Baptist hosting free coffee, prayer, a youth car wash, hot dogs, and a yard sale. The two-day Mission Georgia event mobilized more than 200 volunteers from 33 churches across Habersham, White, and Stephens counties, offering block parties, dental care, food distribution, and nursing home visits despite stormy weather.

Habersham native turns retirement dream into mission of hope (nowgeorgia.com) — A Habersham Central graduate who grew up in Clarkesville is turning his and his wife’s postponed retirement dream into a pink converted school bus spreading breast cancer awareness. Now living in Alabama, the couple plans a 31-day October journey through Georgia and beyond, sharing their faith, encouraging early screening, and leaning on friendships first formed in Clarkesville.
