Clarkesville crews race to repair water main break on Washington Street (nowgeorgia.com) — A water main break on Washington Street in Clarkesville sent city crews scrambling Wednesday, with one worker standing chest-deep in muddy water to speed repairs. Traffic was reduced to one lane between Clarkesville Baptist Church and Walgreens, though officials reported no widespread outages or boil advisories and urged drivers to use caution around the work zone.

Now living in Alabama, the couple plans a 31-day October journey through Georgia and beyond, sharing their faith, encouraging early screening, and leaning on friendships first formed in Clarkesville.
