• Heavy police presence closes Flat Shoals Road near I-85 (fox5atlanta.com) — Drivers in and around Fairburn should avoid Flat Shoals Road near Buffington Road, where police from South Fulton and Fairburn have closed about a mile of the roadway by I-85 for an active investigation. Authorities haven't released details on what happened or whether anyone was hurt, but they're urging motorists to respect barricades and use alternate routes.
