Students Suspended After Firing Frozen Pellets At Girls: Police
Two students were suspended for five days after shooting frozen Orbeez pellets at girls during an after-school program, police said.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — Two students were suspended from school after shooting frozen Orbeez pellets at a group of girls, police said.
The Annapolis Police Department said the incident unfolded Thursday, but that officers were notified Monday, around 11:30 a.m., of the events.
Authorities said the incident happened during an after-school program on the 700 block of Chase Street. Police did not name the school, although the Wiley H. Bates Middle School is near the location.

Police said a "group" of girls were playing when two students — later identified by staffers — approached and began shooting the pellets.
The two students were suspended for five days by the school.
