• $44 Million for Montgomery County Transit Included in Maryland's Six-Year Transportation Plan (mocoshow.com) — Bethesda commuters stand to benefit as Maryland's new six-year transportation plan includes $44 million for Montgomery County transit plus continued progress on the nearly complete Purple Line between Bethesda and New Carrollton. The draft plan also funds local bike and trail upgrades, safety work on major roads, and improvements at the county airpark, with final approval expected during the 2027 legislative session.
