What to know about Keith Darling (metrowestdailynews.com) — Northborough has appointed Keith Darling, a longtime Franklin battalion chief and paramedic, as its new fire chief, with the Select Board voting on Sept. 14. Darling plans to get to know local firefighters and residents, help oversee construction of the new $41.3 million fire station, and pursue grants to support services while keeping pace with the town's growth.
