• First Friday Brings Art, Music and Community to Press Plaza in Asbury Park (tapinto.net) — Downtown Asbury Park is hosting a free First Friday Art & Sound event this Friday, Oct. 2, from 5 to 9 p.m. in Press Plaza, with live music and local art vendors. Presented by the city's Community & Cultural Affairs department and local partners, it's a family-friendly way to enjoy restaurants, shops, and galleries while celebrating Asbury Park's music and arts scene.

Her obituary honors decades of advocacy for people with autism, deep devotion to her blended family, and invites mourners to visitation in Belmar and a graveside service in Sea Girt this weekend.
