• Employment Opportunity Available: Part-Time Custodian (secaucusnj.net) — Secaucus is hiring a part-time weekend custodian for the Koelle Boulevard Recreation Center, paying $15.92 per hour and reporting to the recreation facilities manager. Duties include cleaning, light maintenance, snow shoveling, and event support, and applicants must have a high school diploma and a valid New Jersey driver's license. You can apply directly through the Town of Secaucus website. 
• Morris/Sussex high school football scoreboard: Week 1 (northjersey.com) — Secaucus football fans can catch Butler visiting town for a 6 p.m. kickoff in Week 1 of the high school season. The regional scoreboard also lists dozens of other Morris and Sussex County matchups, with times and opponents, so you can track rivals and plan which games to follow live.
