Local leaders highlight how EV chargers, building retrofits, LED streetlights, and flood mitigation projects are cutting emissions and unlocking new grant funding without added cost to taxpayers.
   

• Building shut down after car smashes into structure in Westchester County (newsbreak.com) — A building on Gilder Street in Larchmont has been declared uninhabitable after a driver accidentally accelerated into it while parking, causing significant structural damage. Everyone inside escaped safely, but the fire chief says the property must stay closed until the owner works with the village building department and contractors on repairs, with no timeline yet for reopening.
