• Larchmont: 'Historic Discovery' Halted Flint Park Work (larchmontloop.com) — Work to upgrade Fields A and B at Flint Park in Larchmont has been halted for six weeks after construction crews uncovered what's believed to be old municipal solid waste, possibly ash from a former incinerator. The fenced-off area is covered and contained, while the rest of the park remains open and deemed safe as the state DEC reviews tests and advises how work can resume.
