Man Stabbed In Lenox Hill Grocery Store, Police Say

The victim was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center in critical condition.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A 35-year-old man was stabbed inside a Lenox Hill grocery store on Tuesday night, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, the man was stabbed in the torso at 10:00 p.m. inside Fresh Food Farm, located at 1310 Second Ave. on East 69th Street.

Police sources said that an argument led up to the attack.

The man was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center in critical condition, but his condition has since been upgraded to stable.

Two people were arrested at the scene, and the charges are pending.
