Jack will be bringing some examples of wild foraged plants common to Virginia and North Carolina, as well as gathering some things from our trail to share with all of you and answer some important questions!
Is there a right way to harvest plants?
How are they processed for medicine?
What are they used for?
Before dehydrators, how did indigenous people dry their herbs?
And much MORE! He'll be sharing ways to recognize different plants and reliable resources to continue learning. Jack will also be touching on the dangers of improper identification, preparation, and usage.
