1. 2nd Columbus police officer under investigation for alleged misuse of Flock cameras (10tv.com) — Columbus residents should know a second city police officer has been relieved of duty amid an investigation into alleged misuse of Flock license plate cameras, following a similar case earlier this month. The city has paused its Flock system while state leaders push to criminalize abuses, as more central Ohio communities reconsider or halt their use of the technology.

Western businesses and horseback riders prepare for Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus (abc6onyourside.com) — Columbus is about to host the All-American Quarter Horse Congress, expected to draw roughly half a million visitors and pump hundreds of millions into the local economy. Amazon Tests Lower-Carbon Aluminum in Ohio Data Center Build (environmentenergyleader.com) — A data center project near Columbus is becoming a testbed for Amazon's push to cut construction-related carbon emissions by using lower-carbon aluminum cabling made with ELYSIS technology. The pilot could influence how future central Ohio data centers are built, depending on whether the material proves cost-effective, scalable, and reliable in real-world conditions.
