• Still no definitive end to SK water ban (ricentral.com) — Narragansett residents on Veolia water are entering a third month under a total outdoor water ban, with no clear timeline or benchmarks for when it will be lifted. The company cites a still-stressed Mink Brook Aquifer and drought conditions, while frustrated customers and local officials question communication, enforcement, and long-term planning for a more reliable regional water supply.

• NEW: Flood Watch Issued for Rhode Island By National Weather Service (golocalprov.com) — Narragansett is under a National Weather Service flood watch from late tonight through Sunday afternoon, with 0.5 to 2 inches of rain expected and localized higher totals possible. Residents should be prepared for potential flash flooding in low-lying or poor-drainage areas as heavy showers and a few thunderstorms move across Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.

• Swim Across America RI raises money for cancer research (turnto10.com) — A major cancer-research fundraiser just took over Roger Wheeler State Beach in Narragansett, drawing nearly 1,000 swimmers and raising more than $323,000 for Women & Infants Hospital. With distances for all ages and abilities, the long-running Swim Across America event has now generated over $3.3 million for oncology research, while also honoring retiring Providence College coach and event co-founder John O'Neill.
