Ross leads charge for EHS football team (sentinelprogress.com) — Easley High School senior receiver and captain Owen Ross is leading the Green Wave's young passing attack while carrying a 4.02 GPA and eyeing Clemson for agriculture studies. He talks about mentoring talented sophomore teammates and how Boys State at Anderson University deepened his sense of leadership and brotherhood.

Deputies: PIT maneuver used to end pursuit after SC stabbing (wyff4.com) — Law enforcement say a stabbing in Easley led to a late-night multi-county chase ending when Greenville County deputies used a PIT maneuver to stop a suspect's vehicle. Easley Police and Pickens County deputies were involved, and two injured people were treated at Greenville Memorial and Easley Baptist hospitals. Investigators believe the violence followed a social gathering with heavy drinking.

Margaret Waters Gravely Obituary Oct 6, 2026 (robinsonfuneralhomes.com) — Easley residents are mourning Margaret Melinda Waters Gravely, an 88-year-old Easley High School graduate remembered for her strong faith, love of family, and front-porch reading. Friends and family can pay their respects Friday at Bible Baptist Church in Pickens, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley.
