New Flex Office Buildings Proposed For Fredericksburg Industrial Park By Fairbanks & Franklin
Fairbanks & Franklin seeks approval for two office buildings totaling 36,080 square feet on Summit Street.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — City officials are reviewing a proposal to construct two flex office buildings totaling 36,080 square feet within the Fredericksburg Battlefield Industrial Park.
The project, designated as SPMAJ2604-0061, is sited on 3.40 acres on the south side of Blue & Gray Parkway, east of Summit Street. According to the application materials, the development includes the two buildings and related infrastructure on land currently zoned I-2, General-Industrial.
Fairbanks & Franklin submitted the proposal on behalf of the applicant. Jennifer Shea, representing the firm, is listed as the primary contact for the engineering and application process.

The city has opened a public comment period for residents to provide input on the request. "The general public is invited to make inquiries or to express views regarding this request," the project notice states.
Written comments must be submitted to Mike Sherman via email at mesherman@fredericksburgva.gov by the close of business on May 26. This deadline serves as the current timeline for public participation before the proposal moves further through the city's approval process.
