• Kent State Drops Overtime Game in Marathon Against VCU - Kent State Golden Flashes (kentstatesports.com) — Fredericksburg is represented on the college field hockey stage as VCU goalkeeper Emma Clements, a redshirt junior from the city, helped secure a 1–0 overtime win against Kent State with five key saves. The defensive battle in Evanston, Illinois, featured heavy Kent State pressure, a weather delay, and a late overtime goal that handed VCU its first victory of the season.
