Police Seek Man Accused Of Brandishing Firearm At Fredericksburg Store (patch.com) — Fredericksburg police are asking residents to help identify a man accused of brandishing a firearm at the Walmart on Carl D. Silver Parkway earlier this month. Investigators released surveillance photos of the suspect and his truck and are urging anyone with information to call or text in anonymous tips as they continue the investigation.

Housing, Trails And Public Safety: Fredericksburg Council Adopts 2026-2029 Plan (patch.com) — Fredericksburg City Council has adopted a 2026–2029 priority plan that will shape housing, public safety, trails, and budget decisions, including new youth and transportation committees. Residents can expect studies on housing affordability, expanded crisis intervention policing, better park and trail lighting, and arts projects downtown, plus school funding adjustments that require no additional local tax dollars.

Volunteer red kettle bell ringers needed in Fredericksburg (fredericksburg.com) — Fredericksburg-area residents are needed to volunteer as Salvation Army Red Kettle bell ringers from November 7 through December 19 at local Walmarts, Giants, Central Park, Spotsylvania Towne Center, and Goolrick's Pharmacy. You can choose daytime or evening shifts, split times with friends, and sign up online or by contacting the local coordinator directly for details.

Police Blotter: Fredericksburg Stabbing on Caroline Street; Stafford Fraud Reports (potomaclocal.com) — Fredericksburg police are investigating a Tuesday night stabbing on the 500 block of Caroline Street that left a victim with life-threatening injuries and led to the arrest of a 64-year-old city resident. Authorities say the suspect and victim were strangers whose argument escalated, and they're also sharing details on two recent fraud reports handled by Stafford County deputies.
   

5. Police Blotter: Haymarket Assault; Target Robbery Arrest (potomaclocal.com) — Fredericksburg police are asking for help finding Dominique Cooke, last seen the evening of Sept. 21 near The Commons at Cowan Boulevard, and are sharing a description plus tip line information. The broader blotter also covers recent incidents in Prince William, Fauquier, and Stafford counties, including an assault, a Target robbery arrest, a scam report, and a public intoxication case.
