Stafford Man Jailed After Deputies Find Concealed Blade, Marijuana Following Threat Report
Deputies arrested a 19-year-old after a McDonald's threat report led to a traffic stop and the discovery of a concealed blade and marijuana.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A 19-year-old Stafford man was arrested Friday evening after deputies investigating a report of threats involving a weapon at a McDonald's found him wearing a ski mask and allegedly carrying a concealed bladed weapon, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
A deputy responded around 7:23 p.m. to the McDonald's at 1 Village Center Drive in Fredericksburg after receiving a report that a person had made threats with a weapon. Authorities said the suspect's vehicle had already left the area, and the suspect was reportedly wearing a ski mask.
The deputy later spotted the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. According to the Sheriff's Office, the driver was still wearing the ski mask when deputies made contact.

Deputies Say Blade, Marijuana Found During Search
A search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered a concealed bladed weapon, along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The driver, identified as Dakota Michael Trimble, 19, of Stafford, was arrested and charged with wearing a mask in certain places, carrying a concealed weapon and underage possession of marijuana.

Court records show Trimble was charged with a Class 6 felony count of wearing a mask in certain places, a Class 1 misdemeanor count of carrying a concealed weapon and a civil violation for possession or consumption of marijuana by a person younger than 21. He was being held in custody, and an arraignment held Aug. 3 was continued. A preliminary hearing in all three cases is scheduled for Sept. 10 in Stafford General District Court.
The Sheriff's Office said all weapons, narcotics and drug paraphernalia recovered during the investigation were entered into evidence.
