• Gloucester supervisors approve utilities rate increase (gazettejournal.net) — Water and sewer customers in Gloucester Courthouse will see their monthly bills jump 13 percent starting July 1, after county supervisors approved a utilities rate hike in the colonial courthouse Tuesday night. Officials say the increase will raise about $710,000 for the system, while some residents and two supervisors warned that repeated hikes are becoming unaffordable.
