Eligible 501(c)(3) groups, or those with a fiscal sponsor, must apply by October 19, showing measurable impact, strong leadership, and a commitment to inclusion and collaboration.
   

• Virginia School Board Reverses Ban on Gay-Straight Alliance After Students Sue (gomag.com) — King George County's school board has reversed its ban on noncurricular middle school clubs, clearing the way for students to form a Gay-Straight Alliance after a lawsuit and settlement. The new policy allows such clubs but now requires written parental permission for participation, with board members emphasizing family involvement and transparency going forward.
