• Attorneys clash over evidence in former UVA football player's rape case (cvillerightnow.com) — A former University of Virginia football player's rape case is moving toward a November jury trial as lawyers battle over access to key phone evidence in Charlottesville Circuit Court. The judge has ordered prosecutors to turn over a data dump of the complainant's phone, while both sides signal that text messages between the two will be central to the case.
