• Kitten Rescued, Adopted After Found in Car Serviced by Chapel Hill Tire Crew (chapelboro.com) — A Chapel Hill Tire technician at Cole Park Plaza in nearby Chatham County discovered a tiny black kitten hiding in the suspension of a customer’s SUV, then helped it find a new home. Staff cared for the cat, nicknamed Batman, until a customer bonded with him, took him to the vet, and adopted him healthy and unharmed.
