Upstate firefighters rescue dog that fell into 50-foot well, crews say (foxcarolina.com) — Anderson-area crews, including the Anderson Technical Rescue Team and Anderson City Fire Department, helped save a dog that fell about 50 feet into an abandoned well near West Pelzer early Monday. The dog was pulled out alive and returned to its owner before firefighters headed to a separate outbuilding fire later that morning.

Football Monday at TL Hanna High and Mauldin High resumes after delay (independentmail.com) — TL Hanna High's football team hosted Mauldin High in Anderson on Monday night, resuming play after a delay and rolling to a 33-7 win. A long series of photos captures key touchdowns, big defensive plays, and sideline moments from local players and coaches that Anderson fans will recognize.
