Senior affordable housing complex planned near Cherrydale in Greenville (upstatebusinessjournal.com) — A 58‑unit affordable senior apartment complex, Worley Senior Apartments, is planned off Worley Road near Cherrydale, bringing much‑needed rental options for Greenville residents 55 and older. Backed by low‑income housing tax credits and city annexation, the three‑story project will serve households earning 20%–70% of area median income and could break ground as early as 2027, adding new amenities and stability for older neighbors.
   

2. Riley Green brings That's Just Me Tour to Greenville in May (thestate.com) — Riley Green is set to bring his "That's Just Me Tour" to Greenville's Bon Secours Wellness Arena on May 1, with a 7 p.m. show featuring Randy Houser, Jake Worthington, and Hannah McFarland. Local fans can use several presales before general tickets open, and can buy through the arena box office or online. The run then heads to Tampa, Miami, and Orlando, so this is the only nearby date for Upstate listeners. Expect an intimate skatepark setting and a short, high-energy tour.
