Houston immigration attorney charged in alleged fraud scheme (click2houston.com) — A Houston immigration attorney has been arrested and charged with mail fraud and making false statements in connection with alleged mishandling of clients' immigration applications. Federal and local investigators say she took payments but often failed to properly file paperwork, allegedly giving clients misleading case documents; if convicted, she faces up to 20 years in prison and a substantial fine.

Margaritaville at Sea adds biggest ship Beachcomber to Galveston in 2027 (cw39.com) — Houston-area travelers will soon have another easy cruise option when Margaritaville at Sea's new Beachcomber ship begins sailing from Galveston in October 2027.
