Service Workers Targeted In D.C.

Prosecutors said Moore committed three other robberies during fall 2022, targeting employees at a McDonald’s, a 7-Eleven and a U.S. Postal Service facility in southeast Washington.

During the Oct. 26 robbery at McDonald’s, Moore followed an employee into a restroom and held her at gunpoint, according to court papers. The employee, who had recently immigrated to the United States and did not speak English, attempted to communicate through a translation app. Moore took her phone and forced her to accompany him to the cash register, where another employee was ordered to put money in a bag, prosecutors said.
