• Cherokee County Arrest Files for Wednesday, August 5 (weisradio.com) — Several Centre residents were among those listed in Wednesday’s Cherokee County arrest report, with charges ranging from drug possession to chemical endangerment of a child. The sheriff’s office notes these arrests are based on probable cause, and all individuals are presumed innocent while housed among 108 current detention center inmates.
   

• Three arrested after Cherokee County narcotics search (abc3340.com) — Authorities say three Centre residents were arrested after a narcotics search at a home in the Mt. Weisner community, part of an ongoing investigation. The trio faces multiple drug-related and other charges and was taken to the Cherokee County Detention Center, with all charges still to be proven in court.
