• County commission awards bid for sidewalks in Lindale (wrganews.com) — Floyd County commissioners have approved rezoning for a home and farm at 7050 Cave Spring Road in Cave Spring, shifting the property from suburban to agricultural residential use. At the same meeting, they awarded funding for new sidewalks and ramps in Lindale and contracted for pavement and sign asset management, all within existing SPLOST and county budgets.
