• Alleged admission, DNA evidence link husband of missing Charleston woman to NJ cold case homicide (postandcourier.com) — A man long suspected in his wife’s 2012 Charleston disappearance was arrested at his home in Manteo after DNA evidence allegedly tied him to a 1990 New Jersey homicide. He’s being held in the Dare County jail and is expected to be extradited to New Jersey on murder, kidnapping and burglary charges, following a renewed cold-case investigation and new forensic testing.
