Greenville 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb Returns to Fluor Field for 25th Anniversary (greenvillebusinessmag.com subscription) — Greenville residents can honor 9/11 first responders at Fluor Field on Saturday, September 12, 2026, during the Greenville 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. Participants and supporters will help raise funds for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation while climbing the equivalent of 110 stories, with food, drinks, and the Greenville Drive Team Store open during the event.

Meeting Street Scholarship Fund for SC grads expands statewide (greenvillejournal.com) — Greenville County high school seniors will now be eligible for the Meeting Street Scholarship Fund, with an estimated $2.18 million supporting about 273 local students. Backed by new state funding and private donations, the program can provide up to $10,000 a year to qualifying low-income students who earn LIFE or Palmetto Fellows and attend an in-state college starting with the class of 2027.

The Pride of Greenville, South Carolina: 4,600 F-16 Fighting Falcon Fighters Have Been Built Since 1976 But Stealth Fighters Like the F-35 and J-20 Have Arrived (19fortyfive.com) — Greenville gets a brief spotlight as the current production home of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, with 4,600 jets built so far.
