Norfolk foundation uses personal tragedy to advance suicide prevention awareness (13newsnow.com) — A Norfolk-based suicide prevention nonprofit is offering free training sessions around Hampton Roads and hosting its Ladybug Flight for Suicide Prevention fundraiser at Maker's Craft Brewery in Norfolk on September 27. Founded in memory of Maury High School student Sarah Peterson, the group focuses on education, warning signs, and connecting residents with resources like the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

The show follows the release of their new single and video, "Third Knives The Charm," ahead of their debut album dropping next week.

WAVY anchor Regina Mobley to retire after 45 years in Hampton Roads media (pilotonline.com) — Longtime Hampton Roads news anchor Regina Mobley, a Norfolk State University graduate and Norfolk Public Schools honoree, is retiring from WAVY-TV after a 45-year media career. Known for her community-focused storytelling and major assignments from Bosnia to post-Katrina coverage, she'll sign off September 15 to spend more time with family, leaving a big gap in local broadcasting.
